I am an author and illustrator living in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When not teaching kindergartners or playing and cooking with my kids, I create children’s books. In addition to my own books, I have illustrated children's books published by Lark Books, Marshall Cavendish Children, Scholastic Library Publishing and Ladybird Books. The first book I illustrated, Tunjur! Tunjur! Tunjur! A Palestinian Folktale, written by Margaret Read MacDonald, received an ALA Notable Book Award. In 2019, my work also received an Honorable Mention at the 3x3 Picture Book Show. My illustrations have also decorated products such as napkins, paper plates, greetings cards, gift bags and even facial tissues.
